Laurina Lot 49

Tasting notes: Spices, Caramel, Cherry

Laurina—also known as Bourbon Pointu—is a super rare and special coffee variety. Its most famous trait is that it naturally contains very little caffeine, roughly half of a common Arabica.

The tree is small, and its cherries are long and pointed, which is where the name comes from. It produces low yields, making it even more scarce and valuable.

In the cup, Laurina is usually sweet, delicate, and elegant, with flavors that range from soft fruits to honey and floral notes, and a subtle yet clean acidity. It’s a variety that coffee lovers consider a true gem for its smoothness and complexity.
